![]() ![]() I personally like stories taking this approach to writing, even The Murder of Roger Ackroyd used most of the first person narration, and that book remains one of the best out there from the Queen. The book is entirely in first person narration which makes it never a bore. ![]() The plot is simple enough with usual cliched characters which include a young heiress, a poor young boy, a gypsy old woman with threatening presence and swarm of lawyers, and an ultra competent helper assistant. It is also one of her favorite works, so if you are an Agatha Christie Fan, and aware with some of her work, and read some books, get your hands on Endless Night, right away. ![]() From finishing 4 to 6 months to finish one book (pretty commendable!) she finished writing Endless Night in 6 weeks or so. This feeling of being taken by surprise, even in small way is delightful or something you can always count on from the queen of crime writer – she won’t disappoint at all. Though Endless Night has a dramatic conclusion to tight plot, reading most of her work will not be as surprising, but still when the suspense is revealed, you will be taken a little back. She has a way with words, and simplifying complex layered plots. I’ve been excited to read endless night and finished in short three sittings. Agatha Christie is a Queen of mystery writing and my go to comfort reading. ![]()
